I've debated whether to keep paying to keep this site up, or go ahead & take it down. As long as I keep getting positive feedback on the content, then I'll keep it up. I am always grateful to hear from people who visited this site and found my info helpful; thank you for taking the time to do that.
I began this website in 1996 -wow, 16 years ago at this writing! Since then, the WWW has evolved and now we are seeing a lot of people accessing this material via iPads & iPhones etc., which
ironically means that they have an easier time accessing webpages that are 'old school' designs like this one, lol. I still don't charge for any content or assistance. If you find any links that aren't
correct, I'd appreciate it if you would let me know so I can update them. Wishing everyone enlightening dreams!
September 2009:
I'm looking for someone to re-do my webpage design, and make it easier to navigate for everyone.
I would like to keep the angel on the comet logo, which I've had since The Dream Emporium's inception 10 years ago.
I need a reasonably-priced web designer, as I don't charge anyone for services on my site. Thanks for any
help you can offer, such as sending me a link to a terrific webpage designer that doesn't have huge fees. (fingers crossed!)
My website definitely needs a new overhaul.
January 2008
: Happy New Year to everyone!
November 2007:
Taking a hiatus for awhile, but leaving my website up to help people who can use it.
December 2006:
I know I have been quiet lately, and that is because I lost my beloved mother very suddenly without warning last Easter Sunday. It was a tremendous shock, and I will miss her terribly for the rest of my life. She was more special than I can ever convey.
Happy Holidays to Everyone, of Every religion, race & creed.

February 2006:
Added more info to the Helping Children link, giving parents tips on how to avoid things that cause fears & nightmares for their children.
Spring 2005: I've been laying low so far this year, while having medical treatments for Lyme Disease. I'm wiped out, but the treatments are over for now, & I am recuperating, so I expect to be back writing soon. I'm ready for some new adventures!
Modern Sage decided to change publication of their magazine from national to a webzine now, and format changes & life changes sent us each on different paths; Namaste, Modern Sage! I wish you much prosperity in your new endeavors.
As for The Dream Emporium, it pretty much runs itself, with existing articles helping new visitors. I'm always so happy to hear from people who are better now, after having been plaqued by sleep disorders such as sleep paralysis or recurring nightmares which left them miserable and unable to sleep, but have since found relief after learning how to live with them. Thank you, everyone who writes to let me know how much The Dream Emporium has helped you; that always makes me smile and know that these 9 years of effort & expense are well worth it on my part. Your well-wishes & prayers are deeply appreciated; so many visitors have been so supportive & kind.
PLANS: the Links pages need weeding through with new links added, so I hope to get to that chore soon. It saddens me to see so many previous free sites charging $$. I miss the WWW of yesteryear, when people shared freely and didn't demand $$ just for someone to visit a site or get a tiny bit of help. I guess my site is a dying breed, because I don't even have obnoxious advertisements on my site, wishing to give my visitors a pleasant experience. Do you all like that, or does it not really matter? Maybe I should get with the times and make a little bit of $$? What do you think? Feedback to The Dream Emporium
Newsbreak! - November 2004 - & Spring 2004 Modern Sage magazine

and they are offering not only a free published dream interpretation from yours truly,
but also a free subscription to their fab mag if you are the lucky winner! What are you
waiting for---go to the Dream Emporium's

April 2004 Modern Sage magazine

Welcome, Shape Magazine
readers! Ok, so the men remain clueless; that doesn't mean that you have to stay in the dark.
Special thanks to Maureen Kennedy for including my site in her August 2002 column, and to all the kind visitors
who let me know about this article.
Thank you
News 8 Austin, Texas, for spotlighting The Dream
Emporium in your Web Sightings segment on June 15, 2002. Thanks also to several of their
savvy fans, Betina & Stacey, who kindly alerted me to this honor. I appreciate the heads-up!
A special welcome to visitors & readers of the new
book by Wendy Burt & Erin Kindberg,
"Oh, Solo Mia! The Hip Chick's Guide to Fun for One!"
The Dream Emporium is recommended to readers as a great way to have fun & learn how to interpret your dreams. Thanks, Hip Chicks!

G'Day, Mates! And a hearty welcome to visitors & readers of the
Aussie magazine, "New Weekly," where The Dream Emporium was mentioned in the edition for the week of June 3, 2001.
Thank you! The Dream Emporium is recommended to readers in the May 2001 issue. Thanks, Woman's Own!
A warm welcome to visitors & readers of the popular
Australian magazine, DOLLY.
The Dream Emporium is recommended to readers of author Kate Martin's article about dreams in Dolly's
April 2001 issue. Thanks, Kate! **Update: I'm still hearing from readers of this 'zine article in 2005, so I guess this magazine is laying around a few doctors offices. It's nice to still hear from readers about an article published years ago.
Another special welcome to visitors who are still
finding the January 2000 issue of BirdTalk magazine! Thanks also to writer Scott Springer for his article,
"The Meaning of Birds in Dreams." I know, it sounds a bit bizarre at first, but think about what these birds symbolize
for you...doves, ostriches, the eagle on USA. currency or in Native American Indian's religious
faith; the list goes on & on and makes for an interesting article. For those
interested, it's available on back-issue order of the January 2000 issue.
An on-going welcome to visitors sent via the
December 1998 issue of the UK Cosmopolitan magazine!
Many thanks to writer Anastasia Brien for including The Dream Emporium in her article about dreams.
I thank everyone who is still finding The Dream Emporium after finding these old articles left in magazines in waiting rooms
around the world (I guess that's one time I can thank doctors for the long waits they give us, 'eh?)

Regular check-ups, peeks & tweaks.
Note: Oops, I accidentally lost my update entries that were more current, so that is why it seems sparse along here.
I've added a new page to my site,
Which has info on the following sleep disorders: Periodic Limb Movement Disorder, Restless
Legs Syndrome, Bruxism, & Rhythmic Movement Disorder. Also updated Dream Links page & added
tweaks here & there.
OLM webhosting service now has our business at a better
price & recommendation by Cnet reviews. I was faced with the quandry of being charged more $$ for
monthly bandwidth usage as more visitors come to my site, and so I went on a search to find a webhosting service
that allowed more bandwidth usage for less $$. So far I have avoided having ads on my site and
offer everything free to my visitors, but this costs me $$ to keep going so I have to draw the line
somewhere. I'm glad it worked out, and hope OLM will be a good webhost service. *fingers crossed*
Shape magazine has included The Dream Emporium in an August 2002 article about dreams
by author Maureen Kennedy.
Thank you, Maureen!
News 8 Austin showcased The Dream Emporium! Here is their website:
News 8 Austin
I've been updating and adding links to the Dream Links & Cool Links pages, and
plan to add more content to the various dream & nightmare topics pages. There are some great new links to
news reports & transcripts in reference to dreams, especially on the subject of September 11, 2001
and the aftermath of how it has adversely affected the sleep of many people.
Busy with lots of Dream Contest entries, you guys keep 'em comin'!
I was out of commission for awhile after having surgery, but I'm doing better now and keeping busy with the contest entries and all the wonderful emails I receive from you guys. Thank you for your kind wishes for my improved health; I definitely believe in the power of positive thinking & prayer, and deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness :)
I wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!
I've added links to help people find reputable charities and organizations they
can donate their money & supplies to, in reference to the survivors of the terrorist attacks
on the USA on September 11, 2001. God bless the victims and their family & friends; my heart
goes out to all of you.
Welcoming Americans, Aussies & Britons to The Dream Emporium via various book & magazine articles:
Book: "Oh, Solo Mia! The Hip Chick's Guide to Fun for One!"
by Wendy Burt & Erin Kindberg, 2001, on American bookshelves now!
The June 2001 issue.of Woman's Own, a popular British magazine. Thank you for visiting!
From the land down under, we welcome readers of the Aussie magazine New Weekly, May/June 2001 issue. G'day!
I'll be updating my links pages...I think we need some new links added to the Cool Links & Dream Links pages.
It's always fun to surf to new sites, don'tcha think? Let me know of any you'd like to see listed here!
I'm currently adding a new linked index to all the symbols I've interpreted in various
dream interpretations published online, to make these symbols easy to find. Whew,
this will keep me busy for awhile!
Welcoming Aussies to The Dream Emporium via the DOLLY magazine article, April 2001 issue.
I'm currently adding a new linked index to all the symbols I've interpreted in various dream interpretations published online, to make these symbols easy to find. Whew, this will keep me busy for awhile!
Also, where appropriate, I will be adding the Dream Emporium MENU to the top of each page
throughout my site, since people forget to scroll to the bottom for the menu & get lost.
Geez, I really gotta baby you guys, don't I? (grin)
UPDATE - - 01/January/2001: - -
Welcome to a new millennium!! It's not like we can say, "Ahh, I remember
the year 999 as if it were yesterday...." So, in honor of this once-in-40-or-more generations
-special-celebration, I am doing absolutely nothing on this website.
Go have fun, we'll chat up dreams another time!
Update - -: 22/Nov/2000
Updates have been made to make sure the Cool Links page urls are all current & active.
I will continue verifying links as active throughout the entire site.
Update - -: 03/Sept/2000
I added a Dream Emporium search engine, via Google. It's on the front page of my site, located at http://DreamEmporium.com so I suggest bookmarking that page and returning there if you would like to look up dreams with symbols or anything specific on my site. Happy Searching!
Update - - 27/July/2000
Heads up to all the people screaming for more dream symbols: I've added more actual dream interpretations to my site, so go fish! You know I'd rather you see dream symbol definitions given in complete context of each dream, so that's where you'll find them.
Update - - 25/June/2000
A few touch-ups here & there; I'll be adding a FAQ soon so stay tuned! Update - - 10/May/2000
Congratulations, high school & college graduates of the Y2K!
What a cool year to graduate.
UPDATE - - 01/January/2000:
- -
Welcome to a new centennium!! The Dream Emporium
is featured in an article about dreams in the January 2000 issue of Bird
Talk magazine for anyone interested in picking up a copy. I've added
bird dream symbols to the Symbols page, also. Even I was suprised
at the enormous symbology birds have in our every-day lives. This
is worth a look-see.
Update - - 19/August/1999: - -
Various updates to refresh links, add links of interest, a polish here & a polish there. As of this time, newest contest winners are not being posted on this site, but may appear later depending on how many people read the interpretations. I found that most people just want quickie symbols instead of reading an entire dream interpretation * seeing how everything pulls together. Tsk, tsk.
From April 1999:
The contest entries doth overflow! I've posted February's
Contest Entry & Dream Interpretation @
http://dreamemporium.com/cw-feb99.html
I still have to finish the html coding for Dec, Jan & March winners' pages, so they will be displayed soon also. April's winner will be chosen soon, too! If you want to enter the contest, just click on the Dream Contest link in the menu at the bottom of each page throughout this site. Good luck!
UPDATE - - 16/February/1999: - -
Friday, February 12, 1999--radio interview with Binda of Cardiff, Wales. Enjoyed spending a half hour with new-found friends in Wales!
After several months' delay, we have reached the unfortunate conclusion that G21 WWW Zine is no longer able to sponsor the SEA OF DREAMS Win A Free Dream Interpretation Contest. I'll continue the contest exclusively on The Dream Emporium from this point forward.
Dream Emporium has a new home on the net...moved over
to InterGrade host service, and
couldn't be happier. John @ InterGrade knows how to treat people right!
If you are looking for a new server with great prices and no run-arounds
or guesswork, try InterGrade. I'm really happy with them. Tell John McMahon
Zen sent ya!
Now that I'm settling in here, there is plenty of work to be done. I've been waiting for G21 to continue sponsoring the Dream Contest, and now that they're back on track after a big move to NYC, we'll be choosing the newest winners of the Sea Of Dreams G21 Dream Interpretations! Stay tuned, bookmark us & check back soon! no matter what, The Dream Emporium will keep our contest going! Thanks.
Writer Anastasia Brien included The Dream Emporium
in her latest article about dreams in the December issue of the UK Cosmopolitan
magazine! A special welcome is extended to visitors via Cosmo, and thanks
extended to both Anastasia and the United Kingdom's Cosmopolitan magazine.
and @ The G21 Sea Of Dreams Contest
G21 Webzine is sponsoring their
own
Win A Free Dream Interpretation
Contest!
Readers are invited to send in their dreams to win a free
dream interpretation each month, increasing everyone's chances to win their
own personal dream interpretation! Dream entries will be accepted &
winning entries displayed both here and on G21 Webzine's site, so make
sure you copy & paste your dreams to each site to increase your chances!
Site #1 : Dream
Emporium Contest
Site #2 : G21 Sea Of Dreams Contest
The newest dream interpretations are on display via the Contest page, and most have not yet discovered that their dream was interpreted. If you are a repeat visitor who has already entered the dream interpretation contest, then make sure you check each dream to see if any of them is yours!
I did a dream interpretation for John @ his wonderful
site,
The Strange. Pop
by if you love to read dream interpretations.
I've added a page to my site to thank everyone who has linked to my page. See Reciprocal Links if you would like an extensive link index of great places to visit on the net!
The latest contest winners of the dream interpretations
have their personal dream interps posted on the Contest
Winners page...check it out!
I have a new article posted on a fantastic site called
The Strange. Look
for it under the (what else?!) Lucid Dreams heading. Tell John ZenCyn said
hello! Fascinating site; don't miss it.
I was a guest on
97.5
WHMS Morning Show with Brian Taylor
in Champaign, IL on Wednesday April 22, and it was a
blast! Thanks, Brian, Faith Miller, Lisa Moldovan & all the callers
& listeners! I enjoyed the show :)
I've written an article for fellow dreamers who are confused
about which dream symbol book to buy. If you are interested, go to:
How To Choose A Dream
Symbol Book.
I've added a new CONTEST
Everyone who enters this contest has a chance to
Win a FREE Dream Interpretation!
Go to Dream
Emporium Contest for your chance to win!
I've added info to my Personal Info page, to include lists of favorites and assorted babblings.
The biggest change is that since I'm planning to write
my own book about dream interps among other projects, I no longer have
time to do free interps. I offer both a monthly CONTEST, sponsored
by my monthly column called SEA OF DREAMS on G21 Webzine, and an inexpensive
individual dream interpretation for a small fee on the
Dream
Interpreting Service page, for those who really need or want their
own personal dream interpretation.
I now offer an award to fellow-dreamers out there who are interested! Check out the new Dream Emporium Accolade.
I've added a few new dream symbols, since a lot of people are putting in requests. However, this will never be an A--Z List because that will go in my book one day, hopefully. :)
What's coming next? I plan to put up an article I'm writing
on how to choose a good dream symbol dictionary, along with a monthly contest
where one of you can win a free dream interpretation! I'll be adding more
links, and all kinds of fun stuff. So I hope you'll bookmark
Dream Emporium and
be a regular visitor!
That's it for now! Enjoy your visit, and drop me a line
if you get time.
